VERSE OF THE DAY: ~Psalm 33:8-12 "Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance."

As simple as it may sound the answer to our country's problems is found in this verse. In fact, our country doesn't stand alone in this. Any country that wants to be blessed has access to this simple yet profound truth. Making God your Lord is something that cannot be legislated from the governing forces of this world. Our president can't force it upon us, our governor cannot make it a requirement for daily living. This can only happen on the "grass roots" level! Entire can be transformed(and have) when common everyday people get the revelation of Christ the benevolent king! Of course, this means more than becoming a Bible scholar or becoming a church goer. It means pursuing a relationship of intimacy with the living God and letting Him lead and guide you into all truth.

Remember the Most High God is the creator who in all wisdom and power spoke the worlds into existence in the beginning. When He is the one making the plans the plans work! His counsel stands forever, His wisdom is infinite, and His power is unlimited! But most of all His love and goodness are unfailing towards those who love and are faithful toward Him. He speaks and it is done, and nobody can undo what the Lord God establishes.

Scripture teaches that the heart of God is to bless all generations He is on board with this plan in fact it is His idea. The lacking or missing partner has always been on the human side. You see, God does not want you as a prisoner and His love is too perfect to be forced upon you. So you have to want Him, you have to want Him enough to forsake all else and trust Him completely. Jesus said the condemnation of our world has been that Light has come into the world but men loved darkness over the Light. I choose to love the Lord!

Some might defer this scripture to the government as if it is the responsibility of our political leaders to legislate God into our society. I want to suggest to you that God can and will raise up Godly leaders as we on the grass root level seek Him in all we do. When enough individuals make God their Lord, the nation will once again be His!

PRAYER: "Jesus I make You Lord of my life all over again today. You are the only inheritance I want. Your wisdom, power and love are unfailing and without limitation and today I choose to make You and Your presence the object of my affection and worship Set my heart on fire today with compassion and love for You and all Your creation, in Jesus' name Amen."

VERSE FOR FEARLESS LIVING!  ~ Isaiah54:14 "In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you."
