“We Are His Co-Laboring Ambassadors”

2 Corinthians 5:19-6:2 ~ that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
In today’s “church” world there is an army arising! An army of true “Kingdom” warriors who are responding to that inner conviction of knowing there has to be more to this Christian life! It is the voice of the Holy Spirit that has been calling us up into the fullness of our purposes as Christ’s people on earth. Jesus has saved us for a life of purpose and destiny. A life empowered by Holy Spirit to bring the evidence of our living savior to a world that desperately needs to encounter the hope only Christ can bring.
Today is the day of salvation! Although salvation does include an eternity of unsearchable goodness and blessing with our creator, it was also meant to be a life filled with hope, glory, health and blessing here on earth. These things are unleashed as we believers live out our adventure of advancing His Kingdom on earth! Our text today declares that we are workers together with Christ in His ministry of reconciliation. This life is a faith walk of grabbing the promises of God’s inheritance for us on earth from his word and seeing them brought to fulfillment in our life as well as the lives of others. It is only when we experience the benefits of salvation that they become truly “reconciled” And so I implore you all on Christ’s behalf; “Be reconciled to God!”
Prayer/Declaration: Jesus I thank You that You have already purchased my salvation in whole. That means:
- I am delivered
- I am healed
- I am made whole
- I am forgiven
- I am called
- I am empowered
- And I am sent with Kingdom authority in this present life according to Your word!
In Jesus’ name, Amen!
VERSE FOR FEARLESS LIVING: Mark 16:17-20 17 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen”
