I have Called You By Your Name

VERSE OF THE DAY: ~ Isaiah 43:1-7 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth— Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
It is incredible to imagine that the God who created all things, formed me, called me by name, and says to those who receive His salvation “You are mine” This is the New Covenant promise, we will be His people and He will be our God. Can you just stop for a moment from time to time throughout the day and become aware of His presence, He is here with you right now. And it is His desire to be known by you.
Whether you are going through tribulation fire, purifying fire, or being flooded by whatever stresses or overwhelms you, Or whether you are having the best season of your life, He is right here with you now. Christians are never alone! You are precious in God’s sight, are you able to tell God how precious He is to you? It is a good day to fall deeper in love with Jesus. Can you proclaim aloud that “You are my God and I love You!” Try saying it as loudly as your present surroundings will allow. Tell Him throughout the day the same words He tells you in this scripture. It may feel weird or awkward at first but if you practice telling Him out loud you will see, you will feel Him drawing closer to you.
PRAYER: “God I thank You for redeeming me from the curse of sin and death, I thank You for all creation, I thank You for loving and honoring me, and for never leaving or forsaking those who are Yours! Today I declare “I love You God” I choose to honor You with all that I am and all that I do. You are precious in my sight Lord and I proudly declare that You are my God! Amen”
VERSE FOR FEARLESS LIVING! ~ Ezekiel 2:6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
