Remember His Marvelous Works

VERSE OF THE DAY: 1 Chronicles 16:7-12  ~ “On that day David first delivered this psalm into the hand of Asaph and his brethren, to thank the Lord: Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!  Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!  Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.”

This takes place during the time when the Ark of the covenant is being brought home to Israel. David is rejoicing and it is a time of feasting and celebration, for the glory of the Lord has been brought back to Israel, the ark of the covenant has resumed its rightful place. Could this be symbolic of salvation when the glory of the Lord is returned to the people? New Testament Scriptures ring forth with words describing how we have become the Temple of the Holy Spirit.  When we receive Christ and his salvation we are restored to the state of our original created identity as heirs of the kingdom. Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name shout out your testimony of the good things that the Lord is doing in your life.

It is the natural response when the presence of God is manifested, to sing and shout and talk of the wonderful things God has done! Especially for those who have sought or are seeking and contending for revival to come. There are many of us in this generation who are praying and calling on God for restoration of revival and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for a revelation of His presence to manifest in this generation, bringing healing to the church and to our land. I believe those prayers are being answered and there is a shift in momentum happening in the spirit realm that is starting to manifest in the physical realm. Soon in America, there will be a time of refreshing and outpouring of the presence of God that results in healing and deliverance on every level. It will be the common order of the day to hear testimonies of the great things that God is doing, not just in the church but everywhere we look!

PRAYER: “God, I do seek you now for an increase in your kingdom on an accelerated level an outpouring of your spirit where healing, deliverance and salvation are manifest in the streets in the parks and everywhere that people meet. Bring restoration of your presence and your glory into my life increase my awareness of who you are, God, and of what you’re doing in this generation so that I can be a part of what you’re doing in the world today in Jesus name amen.”

VERSE FOR FEARLESS LIVING!  ~   Joel 2:21-24 “Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; for the open pastures are springing up, and the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.”
