“You Have Not Forsaken”

VERSE OF THE DAY: ~Psalms 9:9-12 “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.”
Refuge is protection or shelter, from danger or hardship, a source of help, relief, or comfort in times of trouble. The living God is the refuge and strength of His people. But He is also a safe place to turn if you are not a believer. Taste and see that the Lord is good. We all too often put our trust in the world’s solutions and they can be helpful, but only in the Lord do we find restoration of our created value, and that is where true identity and strength come from. The Lord does not forsake those who seek Him! Scripture promises us that whoever seeks God will find Him when they seek with all their heart. When you find Him you will know God in a way that you will be able to trust Him and as you learn to trust Him your faith in God will increase.
Remember to stay humble and give God the credit for His working in your life. Thank and worship Him for His goodness is everlasting. Share the things that God has done in you or for you and as you declare His deeds among the people you will find His strength increasing in and through you. Humility releases His favor upon a person and allows God’s character to flourish in your life!
PRAYER: “Lord You are my refuge and my strength, I seek You and Your kingdom that my awareness of Your presence is always increasing in my life. Thank You Lord for loving me and for the greatness of Your workings. Use me Almighty God as an instrument for Your love to flow through that I might lead the oppressed and troubled around me into Your love, glory and Freedom! In Jesus’ name, Amen”
VERSE FOR FEARLESS LIVING! ~ Ezra 10:4 “Arise, for this matter is your responsibility. We also are with you. Be of good courage and do it.”
